Re: nice show
I've had 6am history tests after an all night drawing session easier than that! lol The difference being this was a bit more fun. I will have to admit I cheated and googled almost all the ones I got right, but after reading the question I was curious to the answers. heh I thought MTV would've been the one to make you laugh ;)

yeah
i am not often so wrathful - i promise... i have just been infrequent in my quizzes - so I am trying to make up for quantity with quality.

'preaciate the props - and the participation - tell your friends... the more people who participate, the greater my drive to do crap like this (there is nothing like wasting a lunch hour coming up with a quiz that only you take y'know?).

I think a scramasax is a knife

hmm
ostensibly, one could argue that it is a large knife, but i tend to have seen it referred to more as a single edged shortsword rather than a big dirk - i may well be wrong though. i will scope the oed when i am less dead.

i am also a pain in the ass
are you positive that lungchuan wushu is a sword? neither of the first two words mean sword in chinese, altho wushu is definitely a martial art... i looked it up in my dictionary, and i didn't see it any entries under the spelling "lung" at all--are you sure it's spelled correctly? [you might be mixing wade-giles with pinyin, bc i know that wade-giles has a "lung" spelling and pinyin doesn't.]

Re: i am also a pain in the ass
Lungchuan is a county in the Zhejiang Province. Wushu or "War arts." Ais a highly gymnastic, traditional sport-like artform characterized by several styles. Technically I was not naming a particular blade, but rather, a category or "type" of sword. Clearly a wushu weapon can be more than a sowrd - i give you that.

However, amongst modern day sword-dealers, a wushu refers to a certain style of blade - the balance, form, and metal of which it is generally made. This misnotmer is unfortunate, but, generally speaking, accurate, since people who want a "wushu" sword want either a light construction, or a heavy, single edged ring blade for use in practicing wushu.

So while you could (and I'm sure will) argue technicality - i was going for the obscurity level. To use a more common parallel:

What do a minivan, a North American utility vehicle, and a Dodge Viper all have in common?

On the simplest levels, they all refer to cars - though a minivan's "car" status is questionable, and a utility vehicle could also refer to an atv, a snowmobile, or even a plane (depending on how broad you spread it). In essence though, if you are loking for the simplest correct answer (which is generally the aim of trivia) saying they are all "cars" or "wheeled vehicles" would still be considered correct, at least in my mind.
