irony much

after 6 years of faithful service, my UPS finally gave up the ghost this morning.
that is longer than the last two relationships i was in put together.

people wonder why i spend so much time on technology.

good bye old freind
This UPS has seen many days....glorius days.
-Starcraft till 5am and beyond
-The lost weekend of Diablo 2 and lost evenings of the expansion pack
-Worlds of warcraft was it final glorious tour of duty.
But not all days are so glorius...
-Everquest, i say no more of it
-The star wars on-line game...which was so complicated you needed a team from MIT to get anywhere.
and
lastly City of heroes, which faded with a small bight after so much bark.

we will remember the UPS for what it was....a supporter of everything we did....for good...or for bad. Never passing judgement. Always understanding our power needs.

*moment of silence*

So long and god speed UPS.

May you return as a new generator for the fine people of NORAD.
Helping to make sure that our country is always at the ready.
