flashback to the night of bad oysters

hey folks, remember that night we did a bunch of eating for our age a few months back? i just came across my notes on things that i was supposed to post about, in the urban legend sense. here they are for you:

I actually had a promo poster of LIttle Mermaid that contained the 'suggestive' artwork.

The rumors behind how it got there may be false, but it is most certainly a penis in the image. :)

I still think the The Palace with the Phallus is totally true. they do crap to debunk it. Sure, they interview the artist, but what person is going to admit they did such a thing? Talk about opening yourself up to liability. They should leave it as an "uncertain" at the very least.

My work's firewall blocks the Little Mermaid link (probably some ad on the page, since all the other Snopes links worked fine). But I remember once I saw a show about Max Fleischer, and there was one example of slipped-in sex stuff.... they showed a slow-mo of Betty Boop's dress going up, a la Marilyn Monroe in The Seven Year Itch. Frame by frame, the dress goes up, and you can see in one frame, the slit in the front of her undies.

I love sneaky cartoonist shit like that.
