800
it is actually off the community - so you don't have to pay the dues or deal with the BS, but you get to share the water rights. it is a fucking gorgeous house, but kinda run into the ground. it is listed at 235, but needs at least 40k in work.

communities SUCK
ugh, i took local government law and communities are AWFUL. they can regulate EVERYTHING. i agree with your decision to buy property off of the property.

plus, the name is super lame.

heh, it is the arthurian lover in me
camelot forest? doesn't get much better. this place is pretty fuckin boss. i will never buy into a community. when i was in PA this past week, I looked at the bylaws of a community - i will never ever sign up for that shit.

Re: 800
And you need to have 100% down in order to get it? What about 10%, 20%? If you're only asking us for $28K maybe we could pool all our pennies...

that place looks great
but according to deed restriction #1
That no nuisance or anything obnoxious, unlawful or detrimental to adjoining or adjacent property shall be maintained on any part of the property herein conveyed;

none of us can come visit you.

ah, but you see?
the property I want is #800, right off the left lake. it is not technically PART of the community, just adjacent to it. so you get all of the benefits with none of the hassles!

hm i was looking at that
but then the restriction says to adjoining or adjacent property. so does that mean we are okay actually IN the house but not roaming the streets? what good are neighbors if you can't urinate on their porch?

also, is the lake considered part of the community?

the property has water rights
pretty much from the start of the lot to 940. the public areas (tennis courts, beach) off the lake are the communities, but with the amount of lakefront space, you can totally make your own beach!

i don't really care about the neighbors. the house is big enough that cou could urinate off of either of the porches and not see the neighbors!
