wtf monday

they are filming more "I Am Legend" stuff in NYC today, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. it is weird walking to work onto a movie set, even weirder when they have made it look like things have been abandoned for 20 odd years. creepy.

i wish
aside from our security, they have private security all over the place. i had to show my ID to three people just to get in the door. When I took out my phone to try and steal a snap, I had someone standing in front of me in about .4 seconds.

One night they were filming in Washington Square park on my way to writer's workshop.. It was odd and creepy, cuz there were not street lamps on, just movie lights spookily in the park and flaming cars with creepy shadowy creatures lurching around them...

that is freaky
the first tuft of fake weeds i saw i assumed it was just wild growth from a warm weekend. by the time i got 100 feet past he first crew truck, it became seriously apaprent that there was some MAJOR cosmetic work being done. every other crack had a tuft of greenery hanging out of it - it literally looked like nobody had been in the area in years. apparently the buzz around the office states that DW will be fishing in the pool in the temple of dendur, but i have no idea if that is true or not.
