last night was definitely a happy hour, but i think the shot of whiskey that the bartender/manager gave me really sealed the deal (not the 15 vodka tonics across the course of the evening).
thanks to everyone for coming. if you missed it, ::fistshake:: next time gadget.

we'll catch up soon! what are you guys up to this weekend? i was going to ~~try to kidnap your husband~~ take you up on that car offer for an hour or two on sunday if you aren't busy. if you are - no sweat, i got other options. i have movers - i just need to move my objects d'art and computers (which i refuse to allow ham-fisted movers move).

also? if sunday is broken for you, i could do this stuff saturday.

if this weekend is shot, well, then i'll have to invite you guys to my real housewarming, whenever that happens.

emilio told me that he left you a message in response to your message - did he not? anyway, we have to do something with my grandmother early sunday afternoon but we should be done by like 3 or 4ish. if that's too late for you, then saturday, weather permitting, i think we have beach plans but we will no doubt be home by 1pm once the masses start pouring in from the city. if you're willing to be at our house by 6:30am you are more than welcome to join us! :-) otherwise we can probably hit you once we get back in the afternoon. any of this sound promising? we can take this to e-mail because that way we can include emilio in this conversation - he has access to gmail at work but not lj.

family first - i hear that. steamed broccoli is not so bad, you just need to dress it appropriately.

moving, however, sucks no matter how you slice it.

I'm sorry to have to contradict you, but unless you are coating steamed broccoli with that crack infused bbq sauce you put on ribs, it's nasty.

But we are on the same page on moving. Even the time I hired movers, I still hated it. Nothing makes it good. NOTHING.
